I am working on a number of research based community health projects. Jessica discussed the viability of different methods of engaging with the process of legislation and the best ways of influencing government. Since attending the workshops “Politics and parliament”, I feel very confident in knowing where and how to gather information and how to present my case in a way which will be convincing to government officials, as well as how my local MP can help.
I found Jessica’s style sharp and informative, yet personable. I particularily valued the workshop and have since recommended it to others.
I attended Jessica’s Politics and Parliament workshop on Wednesday 16th November. It was so interesting and I learned a lot. As it was a smaller workshop, it felt more like a two hour conversation – except one person was far, far more knowledgeable than the others! Jessica really knows her stuff and had considered opinions and tips for every question put to her. In this workshop she really focused on the practical but for the layperson, who isn’t necessarily aware of the detail of parliamentary politics.
I had a great evening and really benefitted from her experience and easy style of delivery.
I attended the workshop Influence, Power and Policy training, Friday 24th Feb 2012 and found it to be extremely useful and a very enjoyable experience. Jessica’s style and delivery was absolutely spot on – she has a wealth of knowledge in this area and her personable style and willingness to share this really kept the the focus and interest of the group piqued throughout the day. Fantastic – and hope I get the opportunity to attend another of Jessica’s sessions in the future.
